I am about to quit my fucking job. I've been working at The Body Shop(TBS) for a year and some change..and I'm either going to quit or transfer. My store is getting ready to close in a few months because the mall we are in is being turned into a hotel. Well I can get transferred so it's not a big deal. The big deal is that we have 4 managers, including me, and no associates. It's getting out of hand. My schedule is as follows:

Sun 12-5 (TBS), Mon 10-3 Library 3:30-Close(TBS), Tues 11-4 Library, Wed 12-5 Library, Thur 10-3 Library 3:30-Close(TBS), Fri 3-Close, Sat 9-2.

USUALLY. That's my schedule. Notice how I work EVERYDAY. Well that's insane. So I told TBS that I need 1 day on the weekend off and then 2 days off every other weekend. Sounds reasonable right? Well yeah I thought so! Until I looked at the sched earlier this week they had me on from 9-4 on Saturday like I'm some damn Store Manager. Today I was trying to have an awesome time on my ONE day off and I get a call from my manager, saying she can't find anyone to work next Friday so she needs me to. I was like isn't that my ONE day off? She's like yeah, so I told her well I can't do it because then that means I won't have a day off, she gets quiet and then I said ok bye. Well a few minutes later I get a damn text and she's saying that she needs me to work 1-close next Saturday, MIND you I was scheduled to work 9-2, where the hell did 1-close come from? I told her I have plans after work. She says that she needs 2 people there or some bullshit. I told her well I don't know what to tell you I already have plans. She texts me saying how I have Friday & Sunday off, and she needs me to work 1-Close.

I don't give a flying fuck what she needs me to work. I am not asking for much and don't try to throw up my days off in my face. I've been offered by two other managers to transfer to their stores in a second I'm taking up their offer. That shit is ridiculous, they need to hire someone else because this is messing with me mentally. I couldn't sleep a few nights ago because I was damn near crying from working so much. It's aggravating and it's inconsiderate to ask someone to come in on their only day off and then try to change their hours around, no that's insane. I either work 9-2 or its a wrap and I'm transferring elsewhere.
