Lately I have just been so irritated by a lot of different things, and I honestly don't know why. My recent aggravation episode came this morning at the library. I decided to wear my cute salmon colored shorts. Now I don't do coochie cutters because my butt is too big, I don't even wear shorts because they are hard to find for my size 12 hips to fit into. Well I actually found 2 pairs of shorts that fit GREAT. The weather said it would be like 90 so I was going to wear them to the library.

I'm not employed by the library I'm employed under a grant program funded by the state and I'm not a library employee. Well all the librarians at my branch and the staff are real cool. Except this black woman of course who came back a few weeks ago from being at another library. I was always a bit iffy about her, she's just too extra. Well today I was talking to her about something and saw she printed something out then she hands it to me. I'm like what's this she is just like oh this is just summer attire reminders.

I look down the first thing on the list....SHORTS. I'm like okay...I didn't know. Well I e-mailed the program director to find out what he has to say. I'm not going to be dressing like her, sweater and thick ass khaki pants. What am I asking to be struck by a heat wave? No, that's insane. I'm sure the directors going to say it's okay for us (Cyber people at the branch) to wear shorts, as long as they are appropriate. I didn't buy these shorts for them to be collecting dust in my closet!

I feel absolutely uncomfortable now and embarrassed. She didn't have to print out a list for me she could have just told me instead of giving me a list! I just put it in the recycling bin =[ stupid lady. I'm going to wear my shorts anyway. And the next time she's like you can't wear those I'm going to tell her to FUCK OFF.

Whatever. Jons supposed to meet me at work today so we can go out to eat. Maybe we can go to Fridays that will make me feel better =[.
