Tonight
Obama surpassed the 2,118 nominations he needed to become the Democratic nominee and I couldn't be any more excited. I have never been into politics because to be honest I never understood them. I would shy away from political debates because I didn't know any of the terms nor what was going on. Well 1 year ago when this campaign started I knew I was going to be able to vote for the first time and
I wanted to be involved. I was determined to keep with the campaign and also not be afraid to talk about my pro choice and debate with others.

Of course I don't personally know Obama but I get such a great feeling that this country needs someone like him in office. His family is outstanding especially in spirit. He gives you inspiration with his positivity. Not once has he bashed Hilary the way she's attempted to try and bring him down. That's a great leader, who can take a low blow and still come out on top. Besides, it can't get any worse than Bush, well then there's McCain.
Now there is talk of who will he have run as his VP. My sister & my mother believe it shouldn't be Hilary, for the sheer fact that she
"dogged him out
" according to my mother. Which is true. I personally think that Hilary fought the only way she knew how. Unfortunately it didn't accomplish much. Obama has been very compassionate since day one and has also been encouraging towards Clinton while she hasn't done nearly the same in return.
I just can't wait until November so that I can cast my vote. I hope all of you will do the same whether you are Repub or Democ every vote does count. Those people who say
"I'm not going to vote because my vote isn't going to matter" really need a reality check. If you don't vote then it definitely won't count. Stop assuming and get off your lazy ass and just vote!
